在动笔写这本书之前，编者参考了大量的同类作文书，在借鉴了同类作文书优点的基础上，本书独创性地写了“作文点评”（附在每篇范文之后）、“写作指导系列讲座”及“常用句型”参考。“点评”部分是对所选范文进行评论、点拨，旨在指导使用本书的读者提高写作水平。在“写作指导系列讲座”部分中，作者向读者具体地，但又“少而精”地介绍了英语作文的写作技巧，从理论角度指导写作。“常用句型”是使用本书的人写作时可以学习和应用的部分。

书中所选的百篇范文体裁广泛，内容丰富。有的选自学生课堂习作，但作者进行了修改和加工；也有的是作者亲自动笔写的范文；还有一部分选自报刊、杂志，但做了适当的删减和修改，使之更适合学生参考使用。本文的编写体例为：英语范文、点评、写作指导系列讲座、常用句型。

With the development of economy, the crime rate keeps increasing. Particularly, economic delinquency. Various types of crimes have appeared and all kinds of means have been used by criminals. What is worth noticing is that economic crimes have become a prominent social phenomenon in China and their impact has formed obstacles to the Chinese economy and social structure.

Crimes originate from the desire for money, Criminals are stimulated by the temptation of money. In order to get money, they will do everything without considering the state benefit. As a result, graft and corruption have become common practice. In the mean time, our law leaves much to be desired so that some criminals take advantage of the loopholes of it.

In order to change this situation to keep crime from rising, we should establish a complete system of law.
